Music is an important part of the curriculum for ALL students, from Pre-Kindergarten all the way up through 8th Grade.
Every week, each grade has a 45 minute lesson. During that time, we cover a variety of topics, including music reading, history, performance, and creation. Each week, we learn a new song or piece of liturgical music and discuss how it relates to that week's Readings at Mass. We also learn about the life and works of a new composer. We then continue with a variety of musical activities, including singing, playing instruments, and reading and writing sheet music.
This page will be updated weekly with information about what is to be covered in your child's class, as well as any important and timely information about performances and other music events at Most Precious Blood School.
